Bricknells Rentals is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO Registration No. Z2426521) in line with UK GDPR. We are members of the Propertymark Client Money Protection Scheme (Certificate above) and The Property Ombudsman for independent dispute resolution. All tenant deposits are secured in the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, with prescribed information issued within 30 days. All properties meet current UK safety standards, including valid Gas Safety Certificates, Electrical Safety Reports, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), smoke & CO alarms, and provision of the How to Rent guide.
Compliance with New Regulations (Effective May 2025)
At Bricknells Rentals, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and regulatory compliance. In line with the new regulations introduced in May 2025, we have reviewed and updated our internal processes to ensure appropriate Customer Due Diligence (CDD), risk assessments, and sanctions checks are carried out where necessary.
While Bricknells is not registered for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) supervision — as we do not handle any property lettings exceeding €10,000 per calendar month — we remain vigilant in our responsibilities. We have implemented proportionate measures to assess potential risks and screen against relevant sanctions lists, ensuring we continue to act responsibly and transparently in all our lettings activity.
